We have had a couple reports of someone wearing a Tawakoni South Fire Department shirt going door to door asking for donations. I want to let everyone know not to give donations to anyone like that. If we were to do anything like this there will be a post on here, on our website and we would have our Fire Department ID and be in a marked fire department apparatus. If someone asks for any money on behalf of our department ask to see their FD ID, if they cannot supply that report it to the police please. Any questions please message on here or call the fire department and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
As always our fire department is full volunteer, the members are dedicated and always willing to help, donations of water/gatorade/snacks of any kind so we may have rehab for those brush fires and structure fires are always welcome and very much needed. Any donations made can be dropped off at station anytime.

Tawakoni South Volunteer Fire Department has ordered a new 2011 International 4400 Tanker-Pumper. The cost is $175,750 for this most advanced top of the line apparatus. We have received a $155,000 grant to help pay most of the cost, but still have to raise a little over $8,000 to cover the remaining balance. We have set up a number of fund raisers to help us make this happen.
We need your help! If you or anyone you know (work, businesses, etc..) can help by donating it is greatly needed. This is a large expence for a volunteer non profit orginazation but with everyones help, we can make it happen! All donations are tax deductable and go 100% towards the tanker fund.
Thank you in advance for helping.
