Any donations made can be dropped off at station anytime.

We also have a PayPal account if you would like to donate to that, the email is tawakonisouthvfd@yahoo.com

Again thank you for your continued support.

BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT FOR HUNT COUNTY….Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties are also currently under a burn ban.

Violation of the county ordinance can result in a criminal prosecution and a fine up to $500. Also, an illegal burn(burn ban) that causes damages to another peron’s property will be investigated as arson. This ordinance does not prohibit outdoor cooking in an in closed apparatus that is designed for cooking purposes.

Remember as always it is against State Law to begin to burn 30 before dark, and 30 minutes before sunrise

PROHIBITED ITEMS CAN STILL NOT BE BURNED BY STATE LAW:

ELECTRICAL INSULATION, TREATED LUMBER, PLASTICS, NON-WOODEN CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION MATERIALS, HEAVY OILS, ASPHALTIC MATERIALS, POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS, CHEMICAL WASTES, OR ITEMS THAT CONTAIN NATURAL OR SYNTHETIC RUBBER

Feel free to take part in our web polls and blog in our journal. We are open to suggestions on how to improve our site as well as our relationship with the community. Stop by the station anytime and meet with the fire department personnel.
