BURN BAN IS IN EFFECT FOR HUNT COUNTY….Kaufman and Van Zandt Counties are also currently under a burn ban.
Violation of the county ordinance can result in a criminal prosecution and a fine up to $500. Also, an illegal burn(burn ban) that causes damages to another peron’s property will be investigated as arson.
